Labyrinth

brothers dancing
sisters weave
a winding spiral tapestry
as i passed you on the path
you smiled
we progress separately
one breath apart one step and one fine line
draws you away from me
slowly pacing forward facing strangers treading gracefully
stop
in the center
heart of the great flower
dwell in the center
in the pulsing swell of power
feel the slip and split and shift of cells expanding
you are standing in the heart and then expelled
returned to the now familiar turns you traced before
and my hand brushes yours
though you are far from where i am
far away but not so distant
i can cross it in an instant
if i will
but i will not
we travel our own journeys back
relearning and unraveling
the pattern of the path
as it winds
as it curls
all the way to the beginning
i stop and take a breath of thanks
returning to the world

Strixy,
Thanks for the earlier handshaking btw, but I think you did very well too...

In reference to your comment on 3rasers blog, he'll be back soon, or in November or in December. Definately in time to ring in the new year. He's out of town. On the roll. Searching for his goof heart, beat style, you know - trippin on a Deans vacation.

nephilim,
Inspiration is a circle in itself it seems. Further, the original piece must also be included in that circle. Can you hear the bells ringing M ?

M = Meistro.

ring a ding ding! duilliath, yes, i wrote that about a year ago about an experience i had doing a labyrinth walk. the design was the same as the one on the back of the legend arthurian tarot cards. strixy, awww you sure can be nice when you want to. does your knowledge of his doings mean you know 3raser in real life? does that mean that i do? i have been wondering and he has been vague. tell me tell me tell me.

Yes I know him. He was dating my "little sister", neither of whom you have met - or so we assume through conversation, butt you know what D says about assumptions, "They make an ass out of Uncle Umption".

As for me being nice when I want to, I like to think that there is a difference between being mean and being argumentative. So, I hope, you'll agree I am only being argumentative. Of course your position does explain the duality of the comments directed my way.

I didn't intend to comment at all actually. It's just that your posts kept being brought up in context of other conversations outside of this "irealm" with 3raser. It seemed only polite to post my arguments directly, rather than have my arguementative discourses be taken as me being -mean- behind your back. Only to discover that it has been taken as being mean to your face (as it were).

So let me clear this up please. I have no intention to be mean, but I do love to argue the topics you seem to raise on a regular occasion. If I have been mean in any way, I do hope that I have clarified. If I have been mean to excess and you require an apology, please let me know.

such things as apologies lost all meaning between us years ago strixy. i certainly had made some assumptions which made any comment from you kind of unexpected. your first (and longtime only) comment was a bit on the snarky and dismissive side, but whatever. poor uncle umpton. i am more pleased than pleased to have your participation and input. you know i love to argue this stuff with people and that is why i am posting it here for the general public nowadays instead of in yet another notebook to cram in a closet with the rest. i am glad you speak up. have you been reading this whole time? i dont find you mean at all compared to some. i just thought your meistro comment was a nice thing to say! sheesh.
keep talking please. i respect your opinion and enjoy your imagination.

You have inspired me to burn a back up copy of my blog and stick it in the closet with the rest of my crap. HA!

Oh, and I have commented earlier. My favorite was the, "well, I'll be there" in regards to a coffee meeting with 3 which was posted 'anonymous'ly. (I thought it was entirely too funny not to).
